About Me
Diversity Statement See more about me on LinkedIn
As a creative and innovative international and intercultural educator, I have been recognized for my student-centered advising and engagement, programming and collaboration across the campus and beyond. My 15 years of international education administration have encompassed the full range of operations in study abroad management, from both the campus-based and the program provider perspectives. With my organizational and technological skills, I have a proven track record of successful program development.

Through my bi-lingual and bi-cultural upbringing in France, coming to the U.S. as an international student and working in Africa, I have experienced the life-changing impacts and benefits of stepping out of one’s comfort zone and encountering difference. I have also learned that I enjoy, and excel at, facilitating these invaluable experiences for others. Furthermore, I continue to deepen my expertise in intercultural teaching pedagogies and practicing ways to help students, faculty and colleagues discover the complexities of culture through experiential intercultural learning activities.

I am fascinated by the exciting potential of virtual international and intercultural learning opportunities to reinforce, supplement and extend student learning from study abroad. I believe that a continuum of international and intercultural learning and exchange opportunities integrated into the curriculum, through study abroad or virtual learning, on-campus, in the local community and/or abroad, serves to inspire, better prepare and deepen student learning and develop the global competencies they need to function effectively in the 21st century.
